When visiting Jersey Fest recently, I managed to pick up a couple vinyl kits. I have decided to try out making Pinhead from Hellraiser first, mostly because this will be my first vinyl kit build, he was cheaper and only in two pieces. I will post my in process photos and describe my process as I complete the project.
These are the two main parts of the Pinhead kit, the upper and lower halves.
After looking at the kit for a minute I realized the first thing to do was to cut the vinyl off the base of the torso along the edge of the shirt.
I sanded the rough spots then bonded the two halves using cyanoacrylate, I don't know if that's the way to do it, but CA has not failed me yet!

Drilled some hole in the base, inserted some dowels, did the same with a large wooden wire spool, then gave him a good coat of primer.
